Residential Maid Services

We provide regular and custom residential maid services. Most of our clients use our regular service scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. With a scheduled maid service, you enjoy the consistency of a well-maintained home.

We differ from other maid services because we perform the same cleaning tasks during each visit, whereas other maid services often use a rotational system, meaning only a portion of your home gets cleaned during any visit. With Progressive Cleaning, your entire home is thoroughly cleaned, each and every time we visit. During our initial visit, be certain to let us know about those often small but particular services you want.

We also provide one-time maid services for special occasions, moving, and seasonal deep cleaning service.

Regular Maid Service

Our regular maid service is based on the most common tasks requested by our clients:

Kitchen

  1. Clean outside ALL appliances.
  2. Clean outside, and inside of the microwave.
  3. Clean all counter tops.
  4. Clean stove (removing, if applicable, all burners and scrub clean) Using applicable cleaning agent (different stove different product).
  5. Clean over the stove, and remove any grease build up.
  6. Clean, and polish outside of the cabinets.
  7. Mop clean floor using "applicable cleaning solution" (not all floors are the same).
  8. Clean, and polish outside of the cabinets.
  9. Remove all trash.
  10. Remove any cob webs.
  11. Wipe kitchen table, and chairs (including baby's high chair, and/or booster seat.

Bathrooms

  1. Clean tub/shower thoroughly, remove any stains, or mildew.
  2. Clean mirrors.
  3. Scrub clean sink.
  4. Remove all trash.
  5. Scrub clean toilet bowl inside, and out including base, and behind.
  6. Dust lights over the counter, and sink.
  7. Vacuum bathroom carpet(s), and mop floor.

Bedrooms

  1. Change beds (if linen left out).
  2. Dust all furniture.
  3. Dust all picture frames.
  4. Vacuum furniture (couches and chairs)
  5. Remove any cobwebs.
  6. Clean baseboards.
  7. Vacuum all carpeted areas.
  8. Vacuum and mop hardwood floors.
  9. Clean all mirrors.
  10. Dust, and clean window sills.
  11. Dust blinds.
  12. Dust ceiling fans (If within reach).
  13. Clean all light switches, and door knobs removing finger prints.

Dining Room, Family Room, Hallways, and Stairs

  1. Dust all picture frames
  2. Dust all furniture.
  3. Vacuum furniture (couches and chairs)
  4. Remove any cobwebs.
  5. Dust all shelves.
  6. Dust all blinds, and window sills.
  7. Dust all air vents.
  8. Dust all ceiling fans (that are within reach).
  9. Vacuum all carpeted areas.
  10. Vacuum and mop hardwood floors.
  11. Clean all light switches to remove finger prints.
  12. Dust all light fixtures including chandeliers that within reach.
  13. Wipe all banisters, and rails.
  14. Dust all baseboards.
  15. Clean sliding glass door.
  16. Sweep the entrance

Custom Maid Services

You may customize your maid services whenever you want. If you have special requests and would like to add or delete tasks from maids' cleaning list, just call or e-mail us in advance of your cleaning visit. Adjustments to your maid service may result in an adjusted cost for that home cleaning.

Kitchen

  1. Clean inside refrigerator
  2. Clean inside freezer
  3. Clean inside oven
  4. Clean under stove top
  5. Clean exhaust fan/hood
  6. Wash out wastebaskets
  7. Wash walls (latex paint only)
  8. Clean inside of cabinets
  9. Remove all items from cabinets, clean, replace shelf paper, replace items

Bathrooms

  1. Clean inside empty cabinets and drawers
  2. Wash woodwork
  3. Wash window interiors
  4. Remove all items from cabinets, clean, replace shelf paper, replace items
  5. Clean walls (latex paint only)

General

  1. Clean out fireplace (must be unused for 72 hours, minimum)
  2. Remove books from bookshelves and clean shelves
  3. Clean woodwork
  4. Clean windows interiors (includes on move-in move-out cleaning)
  5. Sweep porch
  6. Sweep garage
  7. Polish silver

One-Time and Occasional Cleaning

Our maids also perform one-time and occasional house cleaning. Progressive Cleaning maids can clean your home before and after parties or other events and before or after you move. Our maids can keep a home sparkling during the showing phase of selling a home.

These types of residential cleanings are performed on an hourly basis and are usually a combination of our Regular and Custom maid services, tailored to meet your individual needs. We make sure everything you have requested is efficiently cleaned to your specifications.

Kitchen

  1. Clean outside, and inside the refrigerator
  2. Clean outside, and inside of the oven
  3. Clean outside, and inside all cabinets
  4. Clean the stove (remove the burners if applicable and scrub clean in the sink)
  5. Clean over the stove, and remove any grease build up
  6. Clean outside and inside of microwave
  7. Clean counter tops
  8. Clean walls remove any greasy stains
  9. Clean floor using de-greaser
  10. Clean light fixtures
  11. Vacuum and/or mop floors (hardwood or tile)

Bathrooms

  1. Clean tub/shower thoroughly, remove any mildew and stains
  2. Scrub clean toilet with bleach to remove any stains
  3. Clean mirrors
  4. Clean all wall tiles, remove any mildew and stains
  5. Clean and remove any stains from counter tops
  6. Clean medicine cabinet inside and outside
  7. Vacuum and mop tile floors

Dining Area and Family Room

  1. Dust all fans that are within reach
  2. Dust all air vents
  3. Dust blinds and window sills
  4. Vacuum carpeted areas
  5. Vacuum and/or mop floors (hardwood or carpet)
  6. Clean all light switches
  7. Dust all chandeliers within reach
  8. Remove any cobwebs
  9. Dust all baseboards
  10. Wipe rails
  11. Clean inside of all windows

Entrance

  1. Clean glass door
  2. Sweep entrance
  3. Remove all trash
  4. Clean light switches
  5. Remove any cobwebs
  6. Mop entrance and vacuum carpeted area
